Revenue-generating Services

In order to generate revenue, enterprises have to invest a lot of money to carry out market development and upgrading measures. Although the government of HKSAR has set up a number of related funding schemes, there are numerous rules and restrictions in the schemes. It is not easy for enterprises to deal with the complicated application processes and the strict assessments. In case the application is rejected, not only will the business development plan be affected, but also the effort to prepare the application will be in vain.

We provide services to Hong Kong enterprises and assist them in successfully applying for related funding from the government of HKSAR:

Dedicated Fund on Branding, Upgrading and Domestic Sales (BUD)

Two programmes are available, Mainland Programme and FTA & IPPA Programme. The maximum funding for each Hong Kong enterprise is HK$7,000,000. Enterprises can flexibly make use of the funding for market development in the Mainland and/or the economies with which Hong Kong has signed FTA (Free Trade Agreements)/IPPA (Investment Promotion and Protection Agreements).

The programmes aim to support business development projects. Fundable measures include setting up new business entity, recruitment of additional manpower, procurement of special purpose equipment, development of new products, licensing of brands/technology, advertising, participation in exhibitions, patent/trademark registration, testing and certification, development of mobile app, establishment of website and web store and other promotional activities, etc.

Technology Voucher Programme (TVP)

The maximum funding for each Hong Kong enterprise is HK$600,000.

The programme aims to subsidise SMEs in using technological services and solutions to improve productivity, or upgrade or transform their business processes.

SME Export Marketing Fund (EMF)

The maximum funding for each Hong Kong enterprise is HK$1,000,000.

The programme aims to support export and local marketing activities, fundable activities include advertising, participation in exhibitions/trade fairs, business missions, development of mobile app, establishment/enhancement of website and web store, etc.

Recycling Fund – Standard Projects (SP)

The maximum funding for each Hong Kong recycling enterprise in each project is HK$1,000,000.

We have assisted Hong Kong enterprises in applying related funding since 2017. Also, worked in the BUD Programme Secretariat for 5 years, our Consultant is familiar with the operation and assessment yardsticks of the BUD funding scheme. The relevant experience helps to master the vetting practices of other enterprise funding schemes of HKSAR government. We provide better and more comprehensive recommendations to enterprises.

Cost-cutting Services

The tactics used by enterprises for cost-cutting are mainly waste elimination and streamlining workflow. We provide services to assist enterprises in reducing operational cost step by step, ranging from establishment of management systems to building up company-wide continuous improvement culture. Based on enterprises’ requirements, we can deliver training programmes or on-site facilitation projects to enterprises for the following improvement areas:

Establishment of Management Systems

To assist enterprises in establishing the quality management system according to international standards ISO 9001, ISO 10002, IATF 16949, IRIS, TL 9000 etc. and passing the certification.

Improvement of Operation Flow

To identify bottlenecks and wastes in enterprises’ existing operation flows through diagnosis and then assist enterprises in applying suitable tools for problem solving. Applicable tools include Seven Tools, Statistical Process Control (SPC), Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Measurement System Analysis (MSA), Lean Management Tools, etc.

Building Up Company-wide Continuous Improvement Culture

To assist enterprises in forming improvement teams and train the team members for improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma, Quality Circle, etc. The teams are guided to carry out autonomous improvement projects.
